"There were 4 of us and it was my 1st time in newcastle, found the area of jesmond very nice, well recommended! and quite close in a taxi to all the nightlife. Hotel was great, staff were helpful and presented well, especially the bar staff. I would use the same accommodation again when and not if i go back down. Good old Geordie land."

"Unfortunately room 120 is a noisy place to be until the bar closes. There is a constant babble from downstairs, and doors banging as people go from the bar to the loos. The area at the bottom of the stairs is also used by a number of revellers who want a quiet place to chat on their mobile phones. I have been advised that if I book again I should ask for a room on the 2nd floor which is quieter. I am also a little concerned about the use of the fire-door's rail as a towel rail."
